So far so good. I have not yet experienced any lags even with a lots of heavy apps running.

I have a system like your: P4 2,53Ghz - 1Gb ram - GeForce5900 128mb, so this is a good news for me, thanks :)

Yep, pretty much the same specs.

But Vista isn't all about eye-candy, so whenever it gets in my way I'll disable the fancy aero and other effects :)
